I have few words but this was so emotionally charged and incredibly moving. What a wonderful trip for you and I’m sure you brought light to all those you encountered and from us, reading this, you also give us light and hope. Love and peace will prevail in the end and we have to believe that xx

Thank you for the updates. Though we only know each other through this space, you have become so dear to me that I feel relieved knowing you are no longer in peril from the Putin bombs. I have been so wrapped in the struggle against oligarchy here in the US that I haven't had a chance to respond to you in a few weeks, but your mention of loving to write about resistance movements reminded me of how very much I enjoyed the Resistance Bakery, and how it helped stoke my bravery in the work I'm doing. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world — you are doing more than you can imagine with your words and travels — to further peace. Stay safe my comrade in words!

What a lovely comment, thank you so much! And I'm thrilled to hear that the Resistance Bakery helped inspire you. Know that you have a lot of support in your current struggle over here in the UK. It makes me so happy that we've been able to connect here in this space. Sending love ❤️

Thankyou for sharing. Love your writing in that it details day to day living for the Ukrainian peoples, in a way the media frequently overlook. You're giving the people a voice, and recognition they deserve for the incredible sacrifices they're making. You're painting portrait after portrait of a country at war. The words you then write are threaded with a compassion coming from a deep connection to its people. I'm aware my own words are just scratching the surface of what feels like a deep Soul connection for you. Thankyou again

Thank you so much for saying that - giving Ukrainian people a voice and telling their individual stories is absolutely what I'm trying to do here so it means a lot to hear that it's working. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond so thoughtfully. Lots of love ❤️
