Siobhan, loved this reading! Thanks so much! Love being taken through the gorgeous outer coastal landscape and the joys of celebration of life and new beginnings in a hen party, while in prayer and meditation for a life swept away, and your whole meditation here a welcoming space to hold one another in hopefulness and gratitude. Hurricane Beryl is just narrowly going north of us in Corpus Christi, Texas, and reading your travel log is a comforting source of reflection. May you be resting and romping about! Love, Robin from WCDH in Eureka Springs

Robin, it's so great to hear from you! I hope the storm didn't do any damage there, looked terrible in Jamaica. I still take the 💙 you gave me on all my travels so a part of you was on the train journey too 😊 I miss our time in WCDH, such great memories. Sending love ❤️

Thank you Siobhan! I feel as if I’m there with you through your train travel experience. I can relate to loosing a friend who took her life. I never want to experience that again! I’ll take calls in the night from a friend in crisis if that’s what it takes.

Then you brought to mind the beautiful occasion of my Daughter and son in law’s wedding. We roamed through the hotel, rooms, lobby and coffee/tea station in our matching pj sets as each lady took turns getting hair and makeup done. It was the party before the party so to speak!

Perfect photos you took to go with your story! It’s so fun that we can live vicariously through another persons travels.

I'm so sorry you lost your friend and totally with you re the phone call any time. Your daughter's wedding pre-party sounded so much fun - and reading about it got me all excited for my son's wedding in September (we'll all be staying in the same place the night before so I'm hoping for something similar 😍)

Death and then crazy fun celebrations of life, and the special landscape to soothe and comfort. I’ve been on that train and the views just make you stop and contemplate. Glad you’re in Scotland! It’s probably my favorite country, right up there with Portugal!

Beautifully written.

And despite the reason for the delay it sounds like the journey was quite enjoyable.

It is just amazing how a simple act of travel can produce new memories, reflections and yes, joy.

You will not forget the reason for the itinerary change but you will remember the people on the train and the views.

When I'm standing on a platform and a train rushes in (especially on the underground) I often think how people jump to their death. Extremely morbid of me I know, but unfortunately I've been in that dark place (horrific postnatal depression).

You don't want to die, you just want to end that crippling feeling that's taken over you. I honestly believe many of us have been there and I also believe those who haven't may still thinking about how people jump to their death when on a platform- we're humans after all with zillion of daily thoughts.

I will say one thing though, it takes an extremely brave person to take their own life (in my opinion anyway, I appreciate their are mixed opinions on this subject 😬).

Thank you for sharing a snippet into your world 🌎 ❤️ until next Sunday 😃

Ps. Please Don't read the above and feel sad I'm COMPLETELY healthy and happy 🤩

I TOTALLY agree with everything you said and I also think a lot of us have been there with regards to those thoughts. I'm so glad you're ok now, postnatal depression can be very scary. Have a lovely Sunday ❤️
